At this step, your probe should be turned on and connected !
Once the green light on the probe has stabilized, click on: “Add a scan”. The following window opens:
To get a complete and detailed analysis you need to take 8 photos of the face .
Take the photo of the indicated area: Green dot on the model's face.
Position your probe on the face, slide the probe slightly while remaining pressed on the face. You stop on the cheekbone and gently remove the probe . The image freezes.
If the image suits you ( the image must be clear ) “validate” the image, otherwise start taking the picture again by repositioning your probe on the face.
The different LED lights :
- Direct Light (green light) - Magnifies skin texture 50 times
CHEEKBONE / FOREHEAD / WRINKLES
Wait for the color of the image to stabilize and confirm a clear image, without hair.
For the wrinkle:
It is important to position it in the center of the image so that it can be calculated well by our algorithm.
AREA CONCERNED :
You have the option when "affected area" is specified on a photo acquisition, to select a different area than that recommended on the model.
If so, consider modifying the scanned area by moving the marker on the model's face.
Here is the available grid:
- Polarized light (red light) - Dermis analysis
Objective: Observe with the probe the redness and/or spots not visible to the eye .
REDNESS / SPOTS
Tip: Slide the probe over the face from top to bottom only while maintaining pressure.
. Do not scan moles, freckles or birthmarks.
. Also avoid scanning spots located in areas of redness.
We make these recommendations to you so as not to affect the accuracy of the analyses.
- Diffused Visible Light (blue/green light)
Hides shadows for perfect colorimetry analysis
EPIDERMIS SPOTS / COMPLEXION
- UV light (blue light)
Highlights the presence of impurities.
Choose a photo on the T-zone (forehead, nose or chin)
When several people are likely to use the analyzer, remember to specify the name of the operator.

If you need to edit a photo, click “Capture” below the image.
You can download the images by clicking on “File”.

A color code helps you find your way:
1 = dark green, 2 = light green, 3 = orange-yellow, 4 = orange, 5 = red, 6 = black
The spider diagram on the right gives the quality of the skin: 1 = “ideal” skin, 6 = very unbalanced skin.
You have the option, by clicking on "email" or "print" to view the analysis report.
This can be read "with" or "without" the public prices including tax of the products:
- Email :
Automatically sent by email the analysis report to the address provided in the customer file.
- Print :
View the analysis report in PDF to view it.
You then have the option to print it if you wish.
It includes at least 2 pages (this depends on the number of products and treatments recommended).
The first part is a copy of the “Summary” with the test results and the spider diagram.
The second part details the recommended products and treatments with the price if you wish.
Reminder: This prescription can be modified (see the beauty prescription section).
You have the possibility to add your logo.

Check:
- wifi connection: do I get a signal / is my connection sharing still active?
- changes: have you changed your box, internet service provider or password recently?
- the connection: are the visioderm and the terminal connected to the same wifi network? has the order of activation of the connection sharing been respected?
This means that the internal WiFi communication in your center is slow.
Move closer to the internet box or wifi access point.
An amplifier can be installed if required.
Your probe battery may be low.
Charge your probe overnight.

Check:
- That the probe is on and solid green
- That the probe is connected to the same wifi network as your terminal (tablet or PC)
- That the order has been respected (1. I check the connection of my internet box or I turn on the connection sharing of my smartphone 2. I turn on my probe and wait until it is green 3. I select the correct wifi on my terminal (tablet or PC))
VisioDerm has never been connected to this portal with this terminal (tablet, PC or smartphone).
Check:
- that the probe is on and its indicator light is green
and/or
- that the terminal (Tablet/PC) is properly connected to your wifi (box or connection sharing).
If the images of your analysis are slow and jerky and the VisioDerm control LED is pink, your probe is discharged. You must plug it in and wait before using it again.
The probe may be discharged:
Approximate usage time: 7 hours.
Plug it in overnight (10 hours) and try turning it on again the next day.
